Microsoft Purview & SharePoint Advanced Management Specialist

Location: Remote (1 day per week in London)
Rate: -700 per day
Contract: Outside IR35

We''re looking for an experienced Microsoft Purview & SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Specialist to support the implementation and operational governance of Microsoft 365 security, compliance and information protection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions including sensitivity labels, DLP, information protection and governance controls.
• Configure and optimise SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) and SharePoint Online governance.
• Support Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, AI security controls and oversharing remediation.
• Design governance dashboards, reporting and operational monitoring using Power BI.
• Develop governance processes, documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer materials.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to embed governance best practice across Microsoft 365.

Essential Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Compliance.
• Expertise in SharePoint Online governance and SharePoint Advanced Management.
• Experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI governance controls.
• Knowledge of Power BI reporting and governance dashboards.
• Ability to combine technical implementation with governance, stakeholder engagement and operational improvement.
