Purview and SAM Specialist

Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Advanced Management Specialist Location: Remote (1 day per week in London) Rate: 700 per day Contract: Outside IR35 We''re looking for an experienced Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Specialist to support the implementation and operational governance of Microsoft 365 security, compliance and information protection capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions including sensitivity labels, DLP, information protection and governance controls. Configure and optimise SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) and SharePoint Online governance. Support Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, AI security controls and oversharing remediation. Design governance dashboards, reporting and operational monitoring using Power BI. Develop governance processes, documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer materials. Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to embed governance best practice across Microsoft 365. Essential Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Compliance. Expertise in SharePoint Online governance and SharePoint Advanced Management. Experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI governance controls. Knowledge of Power BI reporting and governance dashboards.
