This is a hybrid role based at the Oxford head office and offers the chance to combine procurement management with B2B sales development.
It is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with deep knowledge of halal meat supply chains to play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and building lasting supplier relationships, while also driving wholesale business growth.
Responsibilities Procurement and Sourcing Oversee the full procurement cycle for beef, lamb, and poultry.
Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships across the halal sector.
Negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and consistent quality.
Ensure all products meet halal certification, food safety, and traceability standards.
Forecast seasonal demand and plan procurement strategies using sales data.
B2B Sales and Client Management Manage relationships with existing wholesale clients to maintain strong levels of service.
Identify and convert new business opportunities in line with growth targets.
Develop tailored product solutions to meet client needs.
Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
Quality and Compliance Conduct regular supplier audits and reviews to uphold strict quality standards.
Monitor product quality closely and resolve any issues quickly.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality requirements.
Inventory and Logistics Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.
Support demand forecasting and stock management to minimise waste and maintain availability.
Candidate Profile At least 5 years experience in halal meat procurement.
At least 5 years experience in B2B sales.
Strong knowledge of meat industry supply chains, halal certification, and compliance standards.
Demonstrable track record of negotiating supplier contracts and developing profitable client accounts.
Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and analytical skills.
Organised, proactive, and results driven.
