Position: Purchasing ManagerLocation: WinchesterSalary: 55 - 65k DOEJob Type: Monday - Friday, Permanent, Full-time (site based)Bennett and Game are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a successful Manufacturing business based in Winchester.This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or experienced Senior Buyer to take ownership of purchasing activity, supplier relationships and procurement performance within a growing business.Purchasing Manager Position Overview:Manage the end-to-end purchasing and purchase order processDevelop and manage supplier relationshipsNegotiate pricing, terms and supply agreementsMonitor supplier performance across cost, quality and deliveryAnalyse pricing, lead times and sourcing optionsIdentify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidationManage supplier records, contracts and pricing informationResolve purchasing and supply issuesWork closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Finance teamsSupport sourcing decisions and provide accurate cost and lead-time informationImprove purchasing processes and reduce supply riskPurchasing Manager Position Requirements:Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement or BuyingExperience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be advantageousStrong supplier management and negotiation skillsProven ability to identify cost-saving opportunitiesExperience managing purchase orders and supplier performanceGood ..... full job details .....
