Position: Purchasing Manager
Location: Winchester
Salary: -55 - 65k DOE
Job Type: Monday - Friday, Permanent, Full-time (site based)

Bennett & Game are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join a successful Manufacturing business based in Winchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or experienced Senior Buyer to take ownership of purchasing activity, supplier relationships and procurement performance within a growing business.

Purchasing Manager Position Overview:

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing and purchase order process
• Develop and manage supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, terms and supply agreements
• Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery
• Analyse pricing, lead times and sourcing options
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidation
• Manage supplier records, contracts and pricing information
• Resolve purchasing and supply issues
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Finance teams
• Support sourcing decisions and provide accurate cost and lead-time information
• Improve purchasing processes and reduce supply risk

Purchasing Manager Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Buying
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment would be advantageous
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Experience managing purchase orders and supplier performance
• Good understanding of ERP or purchasing systems
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work independently

Purchasing Manager Position Package:

• -55 - 65k Salary DOE
• Monday - Friday (9-5 working hours)
• 25 days holiday + Banks
