You could be in a transactional accounting role currently or returning to finance after a career break or career change.If you are looking for a hands-on and varied accounts payable role where you can really add value, get involved and cover a broad range of duties then please apply.Wish ListDegree educatedStrong communication skillsPrior experience of transactional accounting tasks (AP/AR/banking)A capable Excel userThe RoleThe successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the following:Using a Centralised Account Payable service centre, assist with processing vendor invoices that are received from global offices and enter into the accounting system.Monitor the supplier records on the system.Processing employee expenses on the internal expense reporting system on Lotus Notes, ensuring adherence to the company expenses policy.Upload employee expenses into the accounting system.Prepare weekly vendor payment files for uploading to our banking system.Ensure prompt and timely payments.Prepare relevant journals entries, including prepayments, for month endMaintain regular and accurate filing system for all paperwork.Manage ..... full job details .....
