Purchase Ledger Clerk (1-Month Temporary Contract)Location: Redhill (Office-based)Contract: Temporary - 1 MonthSector: FinanceAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a 1-month temporary basis in Redhill. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to support with high-volume transactional finance duties.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of purchase invoices, matching against ordersCoding invoices and managing approval workflowsHandling divisional expenses and managing delivery notes from sitePerforming supplier statement reconciliationsAssisting with mid-month and month-end payment runs in line with payment proceduresProcessing sub-contractor invoices and supporting self-billing processesSetting up and verifying new suppliers/sub-contractorsMaintaining cashbook entries and supporting bank reconciliationsAssisting with sales ledger tasks and reconciling receiptsSupporting monthly cash flow forecastsCarrying out ad hoc finance duties as requiredAbout YouEssential:Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar finance roleExperience processing high-volume invoicesStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelDesirable:Experience using COINS or similar accounting systemsAAT qualification (or working towards)Experience within construction or a related ..... full job details .....
