This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone with at least one year of accounts payable or purchase ledger experience who is looking to join a stable and supportive finance function.Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of purchase ledger activity.Key ResponsibilitiesLiaising with suppliers via phone and email to resolve queriesDaily processing of supplier invoicesCoding, matching and batching invoicesPreparing and processing weekly payment runsSupplier and ledger reconciliationsLiaising with internal departments to ensure timely approvals and accurate postingsSupporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as requiredAbout YouMinimum 1 year''s experience in Purchase Ledger / Accounts PayableWorking knowledge of Sage 50High level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholdersCompetent IT skills including Excel, Word and OutlookAble to prioritise workload effectively and work to deadlinesThe OpportunityThis role offers the ..... full job details .....
