Senior PR Account DirectorFocus 5 Recruitment are proud to be working with a growing and innovative B2B Tech PR agency based in Manchester, as they look to recruit a Senior PR Account Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, commercially-minded PR professional to lead on major client accounts, develop long-term relationships, and contribute to the ongoing success of a dynamic and award-winning agency.We’re looking for someone with experience in the B2B tech space, who can combine high-level client strategy with hands-on PR delivery. You’ll play a leading role in shaping campaign direction, mentoring a talented team, and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients across the technology sector.Key responsibilities for the Senior PR Account Director:Lead on the strategic direction and execution of integrated PR campaigns for a portfolio of B2B tech clientsAct as the senior point of contact for clients, building strong partnerships and delivering measurable resultsOversee media relations strategy, ensuring high-impact coverage across trade, national and international pressGuide and mentor a team of PR professionals, supporting their growth and ensuring high-quality outputWork closely with leadership on new business development, including pitching and onboarding new clientsDevelop content strategies, thought leadership pieces, press releases, and media materialsMonitor campaign performance and use data-driven insights to refine and optimise activityStay ahead of tech trends and the media landscape to ensure clients remain relevant and ahead of the curveWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience in a senior PR role within a B2B or tech-focused agencyStrong understanding of the B2B tech landscape and how to craft compelling stories for complex businessesConfident strategist with excellent communication and client relationship skillsA collaborative leader who can inspire a team and manage multiple projects with easeResults-driven mindset with a focus on quality, creativity, and delivering client valueExperience in business development or growing client accounts would be a real advantageA passion for innovation, technology and the evolving media worldPrevious experience in a Senior Account Director role in a PR agency would allow access to the higher end of the salary bracket.This is an exciting opportunity for a confident PR leader who wants to be part of a high-performing agency doing brilliant work in the tech space.
