This is an excellent opportunity for an enforcement professional who is passionate about improving the local environment, tackling anti-social behaviour, and supporting cleaner, safer communities across the borough.Key Responsibilities:Investigate environmental crime, fly-tipping, littering, and other public protection issues.Carry out enforcement activities in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) where appropriate.Examine fly-tipped waste to identify evidence, addresses, and individuals responsible for offences.Gather evidence, take statements, prepare case files, and support prosecutions where required.Conduct inspections, patrols, and site visits across the borough.Engage with residents, businesses, and partner agencies to resolve environmental and community safety concerns.Maintain accurate records, reports, and enforcement documentation using council systems.Essential Requirements:Previous experience within a Public Protection, Environmental Enforcement, Community Safety, Waste Enforcement, or similar enforcement role.Proven experience ..... full job details .....
