Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (BABCP accred.)Location: HertfordshireSalary: £28,407 per annumVacancy Type: PermanentAbout The RoleWe''re looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our Talking Therapies team at HMP The Mount on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals experiencing low to moderate mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression, within a structured, recovery-focused environment.Working within a Talking Therapies service, you''ll deliver evidence-based, low-intensity psychological interventions (Step 2) designed to help people make meaningful progress in their mental health. You''ll work 1:1 and in group settings, supporting individuals to develop practical coping strategies and move forward with confidence.What you''ll be doing:Assessing suitability for low-intensity psychological interventionsDelivering Step 2 Talking Therapies for anxiety and depressionProviding 1:1 support and facilitating therapeutic groupsManaging a structured caseload with appropriate prioritisation and care planningWorking collaboratively with prison and partner agencies in a multidisciplinary settingParticipating in clinical supervision and case managementMaintaining accurate, high-quality clinical records and risk assessmentsWhat we''re looking for:Qualified or trainee PWP with a recognised PWP qualification (or working towards it)Strong understanding of low-intensity CBT-based ..... full job details .....
