Project Planner

P6 Planner Civils and Rail Salary: £70,000 £100,000 + package Sector: Civil Engineering and Rail Contract Type: Permanent The Opportunity An established and growing civil engineering business is looking to appoint an experienced P6 Planner to support the successful delivery of multiple major civils and rail projects. This is a key position within the project delivery team, working closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams and site operations to develop, maintain and monitor detailed programmes from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will have strong Primavera P6 experience, with experience across complex civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects and a good understanding of NEC and JCT contracts. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage and maintain detailed programmes using Primavera P6. Produce and update baseline, target and live project programmes. Manage programmes across multiple projects simultaneously. Liaise closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Site Teams and clients. Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays and areas of risk. Produce regular programme updates, progress reports and management information. Analyse programme performance and develop mitigation and recovery plans. Support project forecasts, resource requirements and key project milestones.
