JOB TITLE: Project Officer - Adapted Sports DEPARTMENT: Chelsea Foundation LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, London CONTRACT: 12-month FTC, 35 hours any 5 of 7 days (including evenings, weekends and anti-social hours when needed) PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To lead on all Adapted Sport Programmes at Chelsea FC Foundation. Specifically developing and delivering new strands of adapted sports sessions across a variety of sports that target population of 40 years+, working closely with local and national stakeholders. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To work closely with the Population Health Senior Project officer to develop, deliver and lead adapted sports programmes, in line with the requirements set out by the funding providers. Activities may include walking football, tennis, cricket, rugby, netball or boccia. Deliver a range of adapted sports and lifestyle changing activities within the Community and across NHS partnerships, including provision during evening and weekends. Deliver and coordinate pathways for special population programmes and support the Health and Wellbeing team with referrals.
