Salary: -30,000 - -40,000 per annum + Package

Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Monitoring Engineer to join their delivery team on a long-term infrastructure project. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering complex and rewarding works, while progressing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain geotechnical monitoring instrumentation.
- Carry out monitoring surveys and oversee the collection, collation and interpretation of monitoring data various softwares
- Manage, record and maintain accurate monitoring records and project documentation.
- Prepare and present monitoring data and technical updates to clients during project meetings.
- Support the management and coordination of subcontractors and site operatives.
- Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Activity Briefings and Installation Commissioning Reports.
- Liaise with clients, site teams and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop an understanding of project costs, commercial awareness and risk management to support successful project delivery.
What We''re Looking For
- Previous experience in a geotechnical monitoring, instrumentation or monitoring engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and industry best practice.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Experience interpreting and presenting monitoring data.
- Good fault-finding, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- CSCS Card.
Desirable
- Degree or degree equivalent in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related discipline
- Experience using geotechnical monitoring software
