Exciting opportunity to work with a leading tier one Contractor on large scale highways maintenance contractor Project Manager Location: Luton, BedfordshireRate: 500 - 550per dayStart Date: Immediate The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with our client, overseeing a 10 million junction improvement scheme in Luton.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional to take a leading role in the successful delivery of a major highways infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring the scheme is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. With an anticipated duration of 18 months and an immediate start available, this role would suit an experienced professional with a strong background in highways, civil engineering or infrastructure project delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day delivery of a 7 million junction improvement scheme. Manage site activities, subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure efficient delivery. Monitor project programmes, budgets and progress against key milestones. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation, CDM regulations and relevant highways standards.
