Senior Project Manager - Refurbishment Contractor Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £90,000-£100,000 + Package Sector: Construction / Refurbishment A well-established refurbishment contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across commercial, healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a strong main contractor background, capable of managing complex refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key Responsibilities Oversee 1-3 refurbishment projects concurrently, depending on size and complexity, with a dedicated Project Manager assigned to each project. Manage projects from pre-construction, tender handover and procurement through to construction, practical completion and aftercare. Develop, monitor and maintain construction programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Take responsibility for project costs, commercial performance, contractual obligations and profitability. Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams. Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor appointments, design coordination and technical approvals. Identify and manage project risks, variations, contractual notifications and programme delays.
