Project Manager

The Opportunity Robert half are working with an established organisation who are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of commercial installation projects across the UK. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will manage projects from initial order through to installation and final handover. You''ll combine office-based project management with regular site visits, working closely with subcontractors, main contractors, site teams, clients and suppliers. This would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving problems and being close to the operational delivery rather than managing everything remotely. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects simultaneously from order through to completion. Coordinate drawings, specifications, materials, deliveries and installation programmes. Organise and manage subcontract installation teams. Attend sites regularly to monitor progress, quality and programme. Build strong relationships with main contractors, site managers, clients and suppliers. Monitor project costs and maintain commercial awareness throughout delivery. Manage project variations and ensure changes are communicated effectively. Oversee snagging and final project handover. Identify potential issues early and take ownership of resolving them. Maintain accurate project records and provide clear updates to customers and stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
