Project Manager

Reginald Gray is delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client to recruit a Project Manager to join their growing team.

Our client is an established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit out and refurbishment projects. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major scheme.

The initial project is a two-floor commercial fit out of office and laboratory space, with a project value in excess of -10 million.

This is a true Project Manager position, where you will take full ownership of the project from a strategic and operational perspective. Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the site team, with a Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager reporting directly to you.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
• Develop and manage the overall project strategy and programme.
• Lead and manage the site team, providing direction and support throughout the project.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, programme, quality and health & safety.
• Manage project costs, risk and client expectations.
• Chair progress meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects valued at -10 million+.
• Previous experience in a Project Manager role with full project responsibility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive programme performance.
• Commercially aware with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
