Project Manager
Due to growth, our Tamworth-based client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Group Project Manager, you will support key ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programmes. Responsibilities will include project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, cutover activities and delivery. You will also contribute to PMO-led initiatives across IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, customer service, finance, HR, sales and business transformation. Travel will be required as part of the role.
The successful Project Manager will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role.
- PRINCE2 certification is required.
- Strong organisational and project-planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and small project phases.
- Experience producing detailed project documentation, including project plans, business cases and reports.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Excellent telephone manner and client-facing experience.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A basic understanding of security and data privacy principles.
- Full driving licence.
Role responsibilities:
- Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of projects, ensuring objectives, timelines and budgets are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project plans, status reports and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Track project resources, costs and key performance metrics, providing accurate reporting and updates.
- Support risk, issue and change management processes, escalating matters appropriately when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment.

- Salary: Up to £50,000.
- Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday.
- Location: Tamworth, onsite full time.
- Duration: Permanent.
- 24 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
