Project Manager Location: 2d Fulbourne Road, London, E17 4GG Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 31.93 per hour Job Ref: OR8398 Responsibilities Lead and manage the Council''s Disrepair Service to ensure timely and efficient resolution of disrepair claims across the borough s housing stock. Focus on minimizing the Council''s legal exposure through proactive case management, maintaining a high standard of living for tenants, and delivering a cost-effective repair service. Supervise one Litigation Officer and two Disrepair Surveyors, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial and legal obligations. Ensure the Council s Legal Disrepair procedures are followed and identify improvement measures to resolve cases quickly, cost-effectively, and to the residents satisfaction. Manage the disrepair programme to minimize the Council s financial and legal exposure, fulfilling statutory obligations, particularly in relation to damp, mould, and building safety. Coordinate closely with the Repairs Partnering Team, Legal team, and external contractors to effectively manage repairs cases and maintain an accurate log of the repairs history for each case. Person Specification Proven experience in managing disrepair services or similar roles within a housing context.
