Birmingham (Hybrid Working) Initial 6-Month ContractWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a large local authority''s Children and Families Directorate on an interim basis.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale transformation, improvement and change programmes that support better outcomes for children, young people and families. The successful candidate will lead complex projects, drive continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with senior stakeholders to support the directorate''s strategic priorities.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining, developing and delivering a portfolio of projects and work streams across the Children and Families Directorate. You will work as part of the continuous improvement and project management function, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, effectively and provide value for money.Key responsibilities include:Leading the delivery of complex and high-profile projects and transformation programmes.Supporting the development and implementation of robust project and programme management frameworks.Managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.Leading and motivating project teams, including Business Analysts and Project Support Officers.Providing expert advice on project management methodologies, service improvement and performance management.Developing and maintaining project ..... full job details .....
