Project Manager

A well-established Ayrshire engineering contractor operating across a range of industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to join its project delivery team.The role will involve managing mechanical and pipework projects from initial tender stage through to final handover. You will be responsible for reviewing enquiries, supporting tender submissions, clarifying project scope with clients, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing all technical, commercial and programme aspects of delivery.Projects typically range from small works through to multi-million pound installations within regulated industrial environments. The position offers a hands-on mix of project management, engineering input and client liaison, working closely with internal fabrication, site and commercial teams.Key responsibilities include:Managing projects from tender to completionLiaising with clients, consultants and subcontractorsCarrying out site surveys and technical reviewsCoordinating design, fabrication and installation activitiesMonitoring cost, quality, safety and programme targetsHandling technical queries and contract variationsRequirements:HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience within mechanical services, pipework or industrial engineering projectsAbility to interpret PandIDs and CAD drawingsStrong organisational, communication and problem-solving skillsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing ..... full job details .....
