Civil Project Manager

Our client, a sector-leading employer in the power transmission and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Civil Project Manager to support the delivery of major energy projects across the Power TandD sector. This permanent, site-based role will involve the successful delivery of complex substation, cabling and major civil engineering works, including infrastructure operating at 400kV and above.Key Responsibilities:Take full accountability for the safe, timely and financially controlled delivery of civil, substation and cabling projects.Set and maintain high standards across the project, ensuring contractual requirements and project objectives are achieved.Plan, review and deliver contract programmes, ensuring milestones are met and project requirements are clearly identified.Identify, manage and resolve operational issues in a controlled and timely manner, escalating business-critical matters when required.Lead and manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Section Managers.Maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, providing clear project progress updates.Ensure appropriate operating plans, resources, materials and workforce arrangements are in place.Manage commercial activities, cost control, project margins and key financial performance measures.Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed standards.Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with ..... full job details .....
