Project Manager - Sheffield
Position Summary
We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead aerospace manufacturing projects at our Sheffield site. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you''ll be accountable for delivering NPI, CI, and CAPEX projects on time, to budget, and to the required quality, ensuring alignment with business objectives for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule targets are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, commercial, and planning.
• Support industrialisation of new products, tooling, and fixtures into production.
• Manage engineering change and ensure smooth implementation into operations.
• Identify and deliver CI and cost reduction projects.
• Prepare business cases for CAPEX investments and track ROI.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; apply problem-solving tools to drive resolution.
• Report project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support the introduction of new technologies to enhance capability and competitiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years'' experience in aerospace/metallic structures manufacturing.
• Proven track record in project management within engineering/manufacturing.
• HNC or higher in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• Strong risk and change management experience.
• Skilled in RCA, 8D, PFMEA, 5 Whys.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and GD&T.
• Proficient in MS Office; MS Project essential.
• Knowledge of AS9100, FAIR, PPAP, lean and Six Sigma desirable.
