Project Manager

Avanti Recruitment is working with an established UK technology business that develops specialist software for large organisations.

They're preparing for the next major phase of a significant international software implementation project, and they're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to take ownership of delivery.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll be right at the centre of things, coordinating technical teams, managing client relationships and ensuring a complex software implementation is delivered successfully.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the delivery of a major international software implementation project.

• Coordinating multiple technical workstreams involving software, data and systems integration.

• Acting as a key point of contact for international clients, managing stakeholders and expectations.

• Working closely with software engineers, technical specialists and external partners.

• Managing project plans, milestones, risks, budgets and delivery priorities.

• Travelling to France approximately once a month for client meetings.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent French and English are essential.

• Proven experience delivering technical projects involving software, IT systems or digital transformation.

• Strong hands-on project management skills, with the ability to drive delivery and solve problems.

• Good technical understanding and confidence working with software engineering and integration teams.

• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience delivering enterprise software implementations, systems integration projects or working in technically complex environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

The Package

• Salary: Up to £100,000 depending on experience.

• Benefits: Discretionary bonus, 6% employer pension and 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.

• Contract: 24-month fixed-term employment contract.

• Location: Leatherhead, four days per week in the office as standard, with flexibility by agreement.

• Travel: Approximately one trip to France per month.

The company is looking to appoint as soon as possible, ahead of the next major project phase in January 2027.
