Senior Project Manager - Healthcare

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy, delivering a range of healthcare projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Manager with strong healthcare sector experience to take ownership of complex projects, build trusted client relationships and work alongside a highly experienced team of construction professionals.
You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and briefing through to procurement, delivery and handover, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, programme and budget.

• Lead the delivery of healthcare construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Manage project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, risk registers and delivery plans.
• Provide effective project governance, reporting and commercial oversight.
• Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and ensuring expectations are met.
• Oversee procurement processes, tendering and contract administration.
• Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues proactively and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, healthcare standards and client requirements.
• Support the development of junior team members and contribute to the wider growth of the project management function.
• Identify opportunities to develop client relationships and support future business growth.

• Proven experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a construction consultancy.
• Strong experience delivering healthcare projects, ideally within acute healthcare, hospitals, NHS estates or other complex healthcare environments.
• A good understanding of the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes, procurement routes and construction contracts.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets, programmes and project risks effectively.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• A professional accreditation such as APM, RICS or CIOB would be advantageous.
