Project Engineer - MSP

Position: Project Engineer Location: Newbury and Surrounding areas ( Hybrid ) Salary: £50k Primary Purpose You will play a key role in the planning, delivery and ongoing support of client technology solutions. The role combines project implementation with hands-on field engineering, working both on-site and remotely to ensure client systems are deployed, maintained and supported to a high standard. You will work closely with the Project Management Office, clients and the Service Desk to understand requirements, deliver projects in line with agreed scope, resolve complex technical issues and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing support. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the PMO to ensure successful delivery of projects, meeting client requirements, agreed scope, timelines and quality standards, with consistent communication and alignment between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Review and quality check Statements of Work (SOWs) from a technical delivery perspective before project commencement, validating that the proposed solution, scope, assumptions, dependencies, technical requirements, resource requirements and estimated effort are clear, accurate and deliverable. Identify and escalate gaps, risks or ambiguities before work is scheduled or commenced.
