Description

Project Engineer/Manager, Newbury:

  • You will be responsible for bring two new products into full production very quickly.
  • You will work with production manager and engineering manager but you will lead the NPI work
  • Budgeting, procuring parts, reporting to the end customer and ensuring deadlines and commercial objectives are met
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of composite parts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Monitor budgets and resources, making adjustments as needed to stay on track.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to minimise delays or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project execution.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to align objectives and timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery methods.

Profile

A successful Project Manager - Composite Parts should have:

  • Proven experience managing projects in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of composite materials and related manufacturing processes.
  • Ideally have a technical background or qualification but certainly be able to read technical drawings and sign off amendments
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • You will live locally and drive - Public Transport is not an option
