Mind in Bexley and East Kent is a local Mind mental health charity offering a wide range of support, advice and information across Bexley, Thanet and the Canterbury district. The purpose of the charity is to promote the preservation and safeguarding of mental health and provide relief for people experiencing mental health difficulties. We promote wellbeing, reduce stigma, support recovery and advocate for improved services for everyone. Job Summary The Project Engagement Officer will deliver a number of community engagement and outreach activities across the Veterans Project, Wellbeing Ambassador Project and Physical Health Checks Initiative. The postholder will build relationships with community groups, local businesses, professionals and stakeholders to increase awareness and participation in these projects. They will deliver presentations, attend community events, support promotional campaigns and contribute to the creation of engaging communications and social media content.
