Job Title:- Telecoms Civil Project Coordinator-
Location: Glasgow, G5
Business Area: Telecommunications Infrastructure Projects
Responsible to:- Civils Manager
Role and Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate FTTH civil engineering projects from survey and mobilisation through to construction, reinstatement, handover and close-out, ensuring project information is accurate, current and accessible.
- Maintain FTTH civils trackers, build programmes, action logs, document registers, risk and issue logs, permit trackers, defect logs, site records and reporting schedules.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Site Managers, supervisors, civil gangs, fibre teams, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, local authorities and statutory undertakers to coordinate project requirements.
- Coordinate streetworks permits, notices, traffic management requirements, drawings, packs, specifications, method statements, risk assessments, inspection records and other project documentation as required.
- Support planning and scheduling activities by monitoring FTTH build milestones, identifying delays, updating progress records and escalating risks, blockers or permit constraints promptly.
- Assist with procurement and resource coordination, including subcontractor information, civils materials, ducting, chambers, reinstatement materials, plant requirements, delivery dates and site access arrangements.
- Ensure documentation required for Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance is requested, reviewed, distributed and filed in line with project and client procedures.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience-
- Previous experience in a project coordination, construction administration, telecoms civils or FTTH delivery support role desirable.
- Understanding of FTTH network build, telecoms infrastructure, civils works, ducting, chambers, reinstatement, utilities, highways or streetworks environments.
- Good awareness of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements within construction, telecoms and highways environments.
- Knowledge of permits, noticing, traffic management, local authority requirements and streetworks processes would be advantageous.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint; experience with project management, GIS, client portals or document control systems advantageous.
- Ability to read, manage and distribute drawings, job packs, schedules, reports, specifications, as-built records and technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with site teams, civil gangs, fibre teams, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and local authority contacts.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines and maintain accurate records across multiple workstreams.
- Proactive, detail-focused and able to identify issues, follow up actions and support problem resolution.

Requirements
All roles are subject to 5 years referencing, successful DBS check and Occupational Health assessment.
