A family run business in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking a Project Coordinator, paying up to -45,000, to join their growing team.
The main head office will be based in the Tamworth area, but the company are looking to grow a Dorking office from the ground up, staring with this hire.
At the moment you will be working from home till the office is finalised, but then they team will be working 1 to 2 days in the office. Every couple of months the team will be expected to head to Tamworth for the day, but all expenses and travel are paid for and arranged.
The role of the Project Coordinator is to support with all logistics and coordination of engineers to major sites in the UK to assist with maintenance emergencies, duties will include the following:
- Liaising and communication with Engineers to secure them for the maintenance
- Coordinating travel arrangements including hire cars and helicopter journeys
- Booking hotels
- Liaising with the client via phone and email, managing repair deadlines
- Organising Engineers to draw up the repair
- Dealing with quotations for the job
- Assisting with procuring and shipping of materials to site
- Managing site inductions, health and safety as well as any other certifications need
- Booking couriers
- Invoicing of clients
The ideal candidate will come from a fast-paced environment and have previous experience with heavy coordination and organising. You will have the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects at one time as well as deadlines that are constantly moving. You will have excellent communications skills, having to liaise with technical staff, engineers and clients. Thinking outside the box is a must, as you always have to think on your feet in the role and well a problem solve.
