Production Test Engineer - Electrical 34,000 - 40,000Horsham, West SussexWe are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Production Engineer with a strong electrical test bias to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role supporting Operations and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle. You will design and develop test equipment for in-process sub-assembly testing, improve production processes, resolve technical issues, and help ensure products are built efficiently, reliably, and to the required quality standards. The role would suit an engineer with experience testing electrical and electromechanical equipment, strong fault-finding ability, and confidence interpreting complex wiring diagrams and PCB schematics. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the key electrical and test interface between Engineering and Production teams.Define and implement in-process testing requirements to improve build quality and reduce rework.Provide electrical and test support to resolve engineering and production issues, minimising delays and disruption.Support Design Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly, and Design for Test principles are considered from the earliest stages.Design, develop, and procure test equipment, jigs, fixtures, and associated tooling.Develop test procedures and support the coordination of production engineering activities.Support the implementation of engineering change ..... full job details .....
