Production Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a busy food production facility in Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Shift Pattern Applicants must be willing to work one of the following shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and support a team of production operatives. Ensure daily production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the production process. Allocate tasks and resources to maximise productivity. Conduct team briefings and provide clear communication across shifts. Identify and resolve production issues promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, and food hygiene standards. Support training and development of team members. Complete production records and reports accurately. Work closely with management and other departments to drive continuous improvement. Requirements Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Operative role within a food production or manufacturing environment.
