An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily shop floor activities, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment producing high-specification products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently achieved
• Monitor quality standards and implement improvements where necessary
• Promote and enforce health and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with planning workloads and managing resources effectively
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Provide training and guidance to team members

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of production processes and workflow
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good awareness of health and safety regulations
