Join a growing division of a well-established business, part of a FTSE 100 company, undergoing significant investment with new machinery and modernised production facilities. This is an opportunity to take a hands-on role leading a small team of specialist Operatives, driving output, quality and safety while supporting ongoing growth. You''ll play a key role in ensuring the site meets demanding productivity targets and customer expectations.

About the Role:

• Lead, motivate and manage a small production team on shift
• Provide clear direction, coaching and performance feedback
• Plan and schedule daily and weekly production activities
• Monitor production performance against KPIs, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensure full compliance with quality and health & safety procedures, promoting a strong quality and safety culture on the shop floor
• Coordinate resource allocation across machines and lines
• Supervise the operation of manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Prepare and deliver reports, highlighting performance trends, downtime causes and improvement opportunities

About you:

• Proven experience in a production supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in manufacturing for construction
• Strong leadership and team supervisory skills, with the ability to drive performance and maintain high engagement levels
• Demonstrable experience of production planning and scheduling
• Solid understanding of quality control, quality assurance and health & safety compliance
• Experience managing resource allocation and cost control
• Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues
