Production Shift Team Leader

As a Production shift Team Leader, you will manage the day-to-day operations of your shift, ensuring smooth production processes and team efficiency. Your role will play a key part in maintaining high standards and meeting production targets. Client Details Our client are a market leading UK manufacturer in Darlington, with over 100 years in their industry. Description Duties will include; Overseeing and managing the production team during allocated shifts. Ensuring all production targets and quality standards are met consistently. Monitoring and maintaining health and safety compliance on the shop floor. Coordinating with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve issues promptly. Supporting team members to improve performance and skills. Preparing and submitting shift reports detailing productivity and any incidents. Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions. Ensure the smooth handover between shifts to maintain operational continuity. Profile The successful Production Shift Team Leader should have: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production setting. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Problem-solving skills to handle production challenges efficiently.
