We re seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join our growing team in Southampton. This role will play a vital part in managing production planning activities for one of two value streams within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. As part of a collaborative team, you ll work closely with production, supply chain, procurement, and order management teams to ensure efficient scheduling, optimal inventory control, and on-time delivery of world-class products to customers worldwide. What You ll Be Doing • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and materials availability. • Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to prioritise tasks and ensure timely product delivery. • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to keep schedules on track. • Liaise with order management to understand customer requirements and resolve escalations quickly. • Implement planning strategies, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvements to drive efficiency. • Support new product introductions and manage design or BOM changes with minimal disruption. • Analyse production data to optimise workflows, reduce lead times, and improve overall productivity. • Monitor inventory levels, manage KPIs for on-time delivery, and oversee ERP/MRP planning ..... full job details .....
