Production Operatives – Rotating Shift or Night Shift

TQR are working exclusively with a global Manufacturer based at their Plymouth site to recruit experienced Production Operators due to a vast increase in production levels. Successful candidates will be responsible for the assembly of product, general machine operating and basic Quality Inspection. These are ongoing temporary roles however, depending upon the needs of the client, there is a possibility these roles could become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly of product in line with customer specifications.   
• Operating production machinery.
• Basic quality inspection.
• Packing of completed orders where necessary.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Adhering to company Health and Safety Procedures.

Essential Experience & Candidate Attributes Required:

• Recent Production experience gained from a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work well as part of a teams and under own initiative.

Inductions for these roles are weekly and will be paid to successful candidates at the base rate of pay providing successful candidates begin their assignment and complete their first week as planned. Successful candidates will be required to work either weekly rotating shift comprising of Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00 and Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00 or static night shift comprising of Monday to Friday 22:00 to 06:00. Night shift candidates will be required to train on rotating shift for approximately two weeks prior to working Night Shift. When training on rotating shift the pay rate of £14.13 per hour will apply. Shifts will be allocated to candidates based on their preference and client requirements.
