Production Operative - Tube Processing

Proactive Global are currently looking to recruit for the position of Tube Operative, based at our manufacturing facility in Hayes. Experience in raw material/metal stocking industry would be an advantage. Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.00 and Friday 07.30-15.00Salary: The role is offering a competitive salary rate dependent on experience.Start Date: ImmediatelyMain Duties: Processing Works Orders to fulfil customer Purchase Orders (including but not limited to use of band saw, precision hand saw, lathe and other equipment and carrying out hand and machine de-burring, to process tube supply requirements)Machining tube to length and carrying out other processes as necessary using lathe, milling machines and other equipment.Noting and booking out material used from stock as necessaryAssisting in the welding department as required (mainly cleaning)Assisting in the tube bending department as requiredPrinting delivery notes and labels for the dispatch of customer Purchase Orders and ensure correct paperwork, Certificate of Conformity and Material Certs have been checked and assigned as per Works OrdersPlanning work schedule to ensure works orders are processed in accordance with due dates and advising tube office of any foreseen problems.Using company Stock Control System to check availability of stock and its locationChecking and ensuring tube being supplied from stock is in good condition and in accordance to works order requirementsAssisting with unloading/loading of ..... full job details .....
