Production Operative - Shift working

Manpower are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work on a temporary to permanent basis on behalf of a local adhesives manufacturing client based in the Walton-Summit area of Preston.Shift PatternWorking 4 days on, 2 days off. (Initially training Monday to Friday day time only) Rotating 06.00am until 14.00pm and 14.00pm until 22.00pm Please note this shift pattern does contain weekend working Starting salary of 28,554 PLUS an impressive shift allowance of 4,193.90 initially then rising to 7,138.50 on completion of a successful probation periodPRIMARY DUTIES Generally, performs, with supervision, entry level production tasks which include:Preparation of raw materials and packaging: identifying and preparing the right quantities and transport them to the appropriate production area, reporting any deviation from normal, note start and finish of process.Operating Batch processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures for bonding agent manufacture. Monitor''s equipment, keeping processes running at desired run rates.Weekend shift, primary responsibility to operate polymer reaction equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
