Production Operative

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Production Operative for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.Production Operative Benefits:Monday to Friday Rotating shifts - Days 6am to 2pm, afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am - these shifts rotate each week and Fridays are an early finishHours: 39 hours per week paid weeklyStart date: Monday 27th July 2026 Pay Rates: 15.38 for days/afters and 16.36 for nightsContract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks based on performance, attendance and client requirementLocation: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Production Operative Duties:Working in the processing plantOperating and loading machineryOperating sawsQuality checking of materials and finished productsPacking and taping itemsWorking with wood and heavy worktopsFollowing instructionsGeneral HousekeepingWorking on your own and as part of a teamMinimum daily requirements (production targets)Production Operative Criteria:Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essentialCNC or machine operating experienced preferred but not essentialAble to work rotating shiftsHard working, reliable and punctualExperience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsGood work ethic and prepared to learn new skills Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties Pro-Found Recruitment are an employment business and equal opportunities employer. ..... full job details .....
