Production Operative
Warehouse Operative - -12.71 per hour
Location: Leeds
Pay Rate: -12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client''s busy warehouse team in Leeds.
This is a varied hands-on role, ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely unload all incoming deliveries.
- Check goods against delivery documentation and ensure they are correctly marked.
- Put stock away in the correct locations and rotate stock as required.
- Pick, pack and check goods for delivery and collection before despatch.
- Quarantine damaged or faulty goods and notify the appropriate person.
- Access and pick materials for the cutting department and assist saw operators when required.
- Load vehicles safely, ensuring goods are well protected and arrive with customers in excellent condition.
- Complete forklift safety checks before operating machinery.
- Provide helpful and courteous customer service.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Provide cover on CNC machines when required - full training will be provided.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- A valid Reach or Counterbalance forklift licence - advantageous but not essential.
- A full driving licence - advantageous but not essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A hardworking, reliable and diligent approach.
- Good physical fitness, as this is a hands-on role.
- Good basic maths skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Full training will be provided, so candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Candidates must be flexible with their working hours as business requirements dictate.
