Production Operative - Garment PreparationNewton Abbot 13 per hour Monday-Friday day shifts (hours tbc) Temporary to PermanentIntroductionWe are looking for a reliable Production Operative with strong attention to detail to join a garment preparation team. This role involves preparing clothing items for production, ensuring machines are correctly set up, and assisting with finishing and packing customer orders.Key DutiesPrepare garments for production, including loading correct thread colours and needles into machinery.Set up and support embroidery and heat press machines.Operate heat press equipment to apply transfers and designs.Ensure all materials and components are ready for production runs.Carry out quality checks on finished garments to ensure high standards are met.Pack and prepare orders for dispatch.Maintain a clean and organised work area.RequirementsPrevious experience in clothing, textiles, or a similar production environment preferred.Familiarity with embroidery machines and/or heat transfer techniques highly desirable.Good manual dexterity and comfortable with hands-on tasks.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.What We OfferFull training provided where required.Friendly and supportive working environment.Opportunities for progression within the company.Easily accessible location with close public transport ..... full job details .....
