Production Manager
looking for your next permanent role? We are recruiting to join our team at Linford Block Plant, delivering safe, sustainable and profitable production aligned to budgetary and strategic targets. Support the Site Manager in the delivery of an effective business plan while maintaining alignment to Product Line initiatives, excellence programmes and standardised processes.Main Responsibilities
Work with the Site team and other senior leaders across Building Products to embed strategies across the site, focusing on safety, cost control, profitability, quality, people and customer service.Manage, measure and improve Health and Safety performance and comply with HandS policies and procedures, aiming for zero harm and Low Total Incidents (LTI).Deliver outstanding operating results (production volumes, cost control and EBITDA), meet/exceed budgetary targets and drive optimal CAPEX performance.Ensure cost control discipline across the site.Resolve operational issues on site effectively.Deliver Quality and Environmental targets and the Managed Maintenance System.Achieve Plant Availability Targets and manage operational KPIs.Optimise fixed and variable costs and KPIs; manage and reduce complaints.Ensure investment and CAPEX projects are delivered on time and on budget.Develop operational capability and succession plans within the team; coach and mentor members to drive a high-performance culture and ensure effective succession planning.Create a positive work culture with a focus on people management and embedding Tarmac values; ensure compliance with group policies, processes and SOx requirements.The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge
Previous experience in a similar roleSHE NVQ level 4 / QCF level 6IOSH / NEBOSH would be an advantageSkills
