Production Manager Location: South Devon Salary: Up to £60,000 D.O.E Job Type: Full Time Permanent The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a successful manufacturing business in South Devon. You will be responsible for driving production performance, leading teams, improving operational efficiency and ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations. Develop and execute production plans. Monitor production performance and capacity. Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Lead CAPEX projects. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality teams. Lead, coach and develop production teams. Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards. Analyse production data to support operational improvements. Essential Requirements Production Management experience within Manufacturing or Engineering. Strong Production Planning and Capacity Planning experience. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies. Change Management experience. Experience leading cross-functional teams. Leadership qualification such as CMI, ILM or equivalent. Strong communication and people management skills. Desirable Six Sigma qualification.
