Production Manager Location: South Devon Salary: Up to £60,000 D.O.E Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a successful manufacturing business in South Devon.
You will be responsible for driving production performance, leading teams, improving operational efficiency and ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations.
• Develop and execute production plans.
• Monitor production performance and capacity.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead CAPEX projects.
• Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Lead, coach and develop production teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Analyse production data to support operational improvements.

• Production Management experience within Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Strong Production Planning and Capacity Planning experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Change Management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Leadership qualification such as CMI, ILM or equivalent.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
