Production Manager Orion is partnered with an innovative fast paced manufacturing company based in the Wirral who are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager to join the team.Production Manager Benefits:Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Non contractual company performance bonusPension contributionHealth AssurancePerk boxChristmas vouchersSick pay schemeCareer progression and developmentShifts: Monday to Friday, onsite only (no hybrid) 07 00Production Manager Responsibilities:Manage daily production to maximise efficiency, output, and profitability; support engineers and resolve issues promptly.Plan and control production schedules, allocate tasks, approve overtime, and ensure resources meet demand.Act as the primary contact for our on-site customer, fostering strong collaboration.Track and analyse production data; prepare daily, monthly, and financial reports for management.Lead and develop the production team through recruitment, training, performance reviews, and shift planning.Drive continuous improvement by reducing downtime, cutting waste, and maintaining quality standards.Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring a clean and safe workplace.Keep policies and procedures current, clearly communicated, and consistently applied across all shifts.
