Production Manager

Our client, a well-established precision engineering company, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations within their busy production facility. The company supplies high-quality machined components to a range of industries and prides itself on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily production operations within the CNC machining facility. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of machinists, setters, and production staff. Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer deadlines and maximise machine utilisation. Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to increase productivity. Work closely with engineering, quality, and planning teams to resolve production issues. Ensure all work complies with required quality standards, drawings, and specifications. Maintain a strong focus on health and safety across the production environment. Track and report on key performance indicators including output, downtime, scrap, and delivery performance.
