Production Line Operative - Outskirts of Colchester - -14ph - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - Own Transport Required

We are actively hiring for a Production Line Operative to join a successful company based in the outskirts of Colchester, Essex who produce a food based product.

This role is assist with the running of a fast moving production line, with focus on Quality Control, minimal stoppages and hold ups.

Duties of the Production Line Operative will include;

• Working on various parts of the production line- from loading, to checking, to unloading
• Ensuring smooth running of production at all times
• Taking responsibility and ownership of hygiene and housekeeping at all times
• Ensuring you are compliant with legal and company food hygiene standards

The ideal Production Line Operative;

• Previous experience in a FMCG or manufacturing and production environment
• Able to work weekends and weekdays to working hours
• Flexible approach to working duties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work overtime
• Be local to Colchester

Own transport is required due to location

Hours and pay

• Working a 4 on 4 off day shift (7am-6pm)- applicants should be aware this does include weekends - working shorter hours
• -14 per hour
• Overtime available
• On site parking
