Product Compliance and Testing Manager

Adecco Worcester are recruiting on behalf of a client for an opportunity to join a growing design, import, and distribution business supplying consumer products across the UK and Europe. This role takes full ownership of product compliance, safety, and testing across a varied product range sold through retail and online channels, including Amazon. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all product compliance and regulatory activitiesEnsure products meet UK and EU legislation (GPSR, CE/UKCA, REACH, RoHS, etc.)Develop and oversee testing and certification programmesLiaise with external test houses (e.g. SGS, Intertek, T V)Review test reports and maintain technical documentationSupport product development and advise suppliers on compliance requirementsManage Amazon and marketplace compliance, including documentation requestsConduct risk assessments and support product safety investigations or recallsMaintain audit-ready records including Declarations of Conformity and technical files Skills and Experience5+ years in product compliance, testing, or product safetyStrong knowledge of UK/EU regulations and standardsExperience managing testing programmes and reviewing reportsBackground working with overseas suppliersHighly organised with strong attention to detail DesirableExperience with testing bodies or marketplace compliance (e.g. Amazon)Background in consumer goods What Success Looks LikeCompliant product launches with no delaysStrong testing and certification processesReduced ..... full job details .....
